How to Make a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Gatesettlement Heating & Air wants every homeowner who reaches out to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics We Accept
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Gatesettlement Heating & Air
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, first raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record of what you said and what they replied.
Please still tell us. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest. A provider that repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed from the network. Gatesettlement Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, issue refunds for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.
Steps to File a Complaint
Email contact@gatesettlement.lat and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want from us
After You Write
First, we will acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Next, we will look into what happened. That may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
You can reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For issues with HVAC contractors, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
